Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure for the state of South Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Previous work with students from preschool (3K) through 3rd grade is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy for students ages 3K–3rd grade, addressing a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate student records and track progress
- Participate in parent meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Provide resources and support to teachers and families to aid classroom success
