Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Hold or be eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience delivering speech services in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students aged 3K through 3rd grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with educators and families to support each student’s communication goals in the classroom environment
- Utilize evidence-based practices, engaging activities, and age-appropriate strategies to maximize student success
- Attend relevant meetings, such as IEP reviews, and contribute expertise to collegial discussions
