What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an SLP, or eligibility for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Compassionate, engaging approach when working with children, parents, and colleagues
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Screen, assess, and diagnose communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and update reports as needed
- Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in school settings
