Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Whittier, NC

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide direct, high-quality speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Perform evaluations, assessments, and develop detailed reports (SLP positions only)
- Work hand-in-hand with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary team to foster student achievement
- Keep precise and timely documentation, participating in team and care meetings during paid administrative time
- Travel minimally between 1–2 nearby school sites, maximizing your impact across the district
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree for SLPA candidates
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina
- Ability to obtain state credentialing and pass a fingerprint background check prior to your first day
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills
- Candidates open to teletherapy, pediatric, and healthcare or school-based settings encouraged
This contract runs from October 1st through the end of the school year, offering a team-oriented workplace and structured schedule (37.5 hours/week), including paid planning and team meetings.
