Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- For SLPs: conduct thorough evaluations, perform assessments, and develop comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate closely with educators, family members, and interdisciplinary school teams to foster student achievement.
- Document services promptly and accurately, and actively participate in student care conferences and team meetings.
- SLPAs will receive district-provided supervision.
- Work includes paid administrative and team meeting time, ensuring well-supported practice.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- SLP: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- SLPA: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies.
- Hold, or be eligible for, a current North Carolina SLP or SLPA license.
- Must clear state credentialing and fingerprint background check before starting.
- Experience in school, pediatric, teletherapy, or healthcare settings strongly valued.
This contract assignment offers a consistent weekly schedule—37.5 hours per week—and minimal travel between school campuses. Interviews are conveniently conducted via Zoom, making the hiring process seamless and accessible.
