Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy sessions aligned with student IEP objectives.
- For SLPs: Complete comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and detailed reports to inform IEP planning and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student achievement.
- Maintain thorough documentation, participate in team meetings, and contribute to student care planning.
- SLPAs will receive dedicated district supervision and support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) studies.
- Active or eligible North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology licensure (or ability to obtain).
- Clearance of state credentialing and fingerprint background check before start date.
- Experience in schools, pediatric services, teletherapy, or healthcare settings is highly valued.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
This full-time role spans the school year (starting October 1st through EOSY), requiring 37.5 hours per week and travel between minimal designated school sites. You’ll benefit from paid administrative time and team meetings, ensuring balance and professional growth.
