Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Whittier, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing services in a school setting, with a strong background working with Pre-K or pediatric populations
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and conducting assessments
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work across multiple school sites
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to Pre-K students in a school-based environment
- Conduct assessments, create, and monitor IEP goals tailored to student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and families to support language and communication development
- Travel between 2-3 assigned school locations (one site per day) within the district
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide staff education and participate in meetings as needed
