Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create inclusive, student-focused therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services across a range of ages and abilities
- Stay current with best practices and actively contribute to school initiatives and interdisciplinary teams
