Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP as required by state regulations
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Sound organizational and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal assessments of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Track student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessment data and recommendations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
