Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working within K-12 school environments
- Strong capability in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with school documentation systems and compliance requirements
- Ability to work onsite (this is not a remote or VOCO position)
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Assess students’ speech and language needs, and participate in IEP meetings
- Write, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop creative lesson plans tailored to meet students’ individual communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Serve as a resource for educational staff and families, offering strategies for supporting speech development in the classroom and at home
