Support students as a vital member of a school-based therapy team in a contract position providing full-time speech-language pathology services. This opportunity is designed for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact on K-12 students’ communication, academic, and personal success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to starting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFs with relevant school experience will also be considered
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
  • Skilled in completing and interpreting speech/language evaluations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Professional communication and strong organizational abilities
  • Enthusiasm for supporting the diverse needs of students across grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for K-12 students, tailoring interventions to their individual needs
  • Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech lessons
  • Write, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Collaborate with education staff to provide classroom support and implement communication strategies
  • Monitor and document student progress and effectiveness of interventions
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
  • Focus exclusively on in-person therapy—virtual or VOCO services are not part of this assignment
