School Speech Language Pathologist - Whitehall, Michigan

This is a full-time, onsite contract position for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in supporting students in the Muskegon area throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. Your expertise will not only enhance student communication skills within public schools, but also extend to non-public schools supported by the district.
Your background and training as a school-based SLP will enable you to deliver critical assessments, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a passionate team. Your day-to-day will offer variety as you work closely with students, educators, and families to help children reach their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-age students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Ability to provide services both to public and non-public school students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services onsite
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and reports
- Communicate progress and strategies with classroom teachers and families
- Participate in school teams, meetings, and professional development
