We’re seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students near Twin Lake, MI, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time onsite contract role involves providing exceptional speech and language services to students at an elementary campus, including those at non-public schools supported by the district.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an elementary setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and team collaboration
- Outstanding communication, record-keeping, and organizational skills
- Compassion, flexibility, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and report findings
- Develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to elementary students
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and communication with staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support each child’s holistic development
- Provide consultation and training for families and school personnel regarding communication strategies
- Serve as a resource for non-public schools receiving services through district support
