Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Wetumpka, AL

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in accordance with state regulations
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; open to supervising CFYs if you hold CCCs
- Pediatric experience in schools or similar settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Commitment to upholding professional and ethical SLP standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to elementary and middle school students
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
- Provide supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFYs) if holding CCCs
