Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Prattville, Alabama

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates with CCCs should be comfortable supervising clinical fellows or support staff if necessary
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across elementary and middle school grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to support students’ communication goals
- Provide supervision and guidance to clinical fellows or support personnel if holding the CCC designation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive educational support for students
