Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Montgomery, AL

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure (State of Alabama) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; must be willing to supervise if holding CCC
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 60 students
Responsibilities & Core Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from elementary and middle school grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to specific student needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy objectives into academic and social activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPs requiring clinical fellowship supervision, as applicable
- Participate in team meetings, student support processes, and ongoing professional development
