Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC) required
- Possession or eligibility for Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (may start with pending status)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to conduct both therapy and evaluations independently
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students across assigned campuses
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and create IEP goals tailored to individual needs
- Maintain organized records and track student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal outcomes
- Adapt to blended assignments across two or three campuses, depending on your caseload split
