Join a specialized educational program dedicated to supporting high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide personalized and supportive speech-language services within a unique learning environment aimed at fostering independence and skill-building outside traditional settings.

Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment based at a high school, with client main office in West Springfield)
Schedule: Approximately 32.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: August 27, 2026 – June 22, 2027 (dates estimated based on upcoming school year calendar)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services to high school students within the Compass High Program, a specialized setting.
  • Collaborate with educational professionals and supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the provision of care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students with ASD and other learning differences.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to support communication and independence goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant state requirements and educational regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Valid licensure meeting all state requirements for school-based practice.
  • Demonstrated experience working with high school-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorders or related learning challenges.
  • Strong skills in supervising an SLPA and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to effectively develop and adapt communication programs to meet individualized student needs.
