Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering student growth in both academic and social settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Provide support, resources, and training to teachers and parents regarding communication strategies
