Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active or pending Florida SLP licensure
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each student’s communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to encourage generalization of skills and student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and compliance with IEP requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with student needs
