Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the West Palm Beach area. Multiple contract positions are available across various schools, with full-time assignments (35 hours/week) starting in August 2026 and continuing through variable end dates, depending on maternity leave coverage.
You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams to provide impactful speech-language services to diverse student populations. Caseloads and specific age groups will depend on assignment, offering opportunities for both elementary and secondary placements, including students with ASD, DHH, and PreK needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold an active Florida SLP license (Department of Health)
- SLP-CCC required; not accepting SLPAs or SLP-CFs for these roles
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site at one or more school locations—remote/VOCO not available
- Completion of fingerprinting required; familiarity with Florida’s AHCA Clearinghouse a plus
- Willingness to complete an internal eligibility and video interview as part of the selection process
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with varied speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Providing direct speech/language therapy and progress monitoring
- Keeping thorough and compliant documentation
