Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license issued by the Department of Health
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based experience in elementary, secondary, or PreK-12 environments preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Completion of fingerprint clearance, with use of AHCA Clearinghouse if applicable
- Ability to attend internal video interview and meet credentialing criteria
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to assigned caseload, encompassing PreK through 12th grade depending on placement
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans to support student progress in communication and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver integrated services and monitor outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Adapt to varying schedules and school needs, with hours ranging from 22-26 per week (Monday–Thursday schedules differ by site and age group)
