Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Kentucky SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with elementary populations
- Skilled in conducting early elementary screenings and comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students across three schools
- Administer early elementary screenings to identify students needing intervention
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Engage with teachers and families to offer resources, progress updates, and recommendations tailored to each student’s needs
