Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Proficiency or interest in delivering teletherapy using secure virtual platforms
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in-person and/or remotely, based on student need and your availability
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district/state requirements
- Consult with teachers, special educators, and families to support carryover of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional growth
