We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, CCC-SLP) for full-time contract positions, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 2027. This in-person opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant school environment located near West Hartford, CT.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification required
- Active state licensure for Connecticut or eligibility to obtain
- Experience with school-aged children preferred, though motivated new graduates will be considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide in-person services
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload spanning grades K-12 across multiple school sites
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
- Maintain accurate case notes, data, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
- Engage with colleagues and families professionally and compassionately
