Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid State Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience delivering services within a school environment strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, execution, and related documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Dedication to fostering communication abilities in children of diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support holistic student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and complete progress reports and compliance documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight to help shape student goals and accommodations
  • Incorporate evidence-based therapy techniques and adjust strategies as needed for success
