Bilingual Therapies Schools - SLP Contract Today Apply

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work 3-4 days per week in the Low Incidence Program in the Marple Education Center. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to help students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license for Pennsylvania
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting students with low-incidence disabilities is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to organize sessions and complete necessary documentation within deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote carryover of skills
  • Maintain up-to-date records, develop progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt approaches to meet students’ unique learning and communication needs
