Qualifications:
- Active SLP license for Pennsylvania
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with supporting students with low-incidence disabilities is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize sessions and complete necessary documentation within deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote carryover of skills
- Maintain up-to-date records, develop progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt approaches to meet students’ unique learning and communication needs
