Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and individualized program planning
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in the Low Incidence Program at the Marple Education Center
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and IEP goals
- Administer assessments and document progress in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success
- Consult with families to support carryover of therapy strategies at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations for speech/language services
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sessions, evaluations, and student progress
