Essential Qualifications:
- Holds active SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experienced in school-based speech-language therapy, ideally within urban districts
- Able to complete all Pennsylvania required clearances prior to start
- Reliable transportation for onsite commitment is a must
- Comfortable and adaptable working in a diverse district environment
- Flexible to work any schedule between the hours of 7:15AM – 4:00PM, as no schedule accommodations can be made
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload at either the elementary, middle, or high school level, based on assignment
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals and academic success
- Collect and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
