Speech Language Pathologist in Upper Darby, PA

Exciting opportunities are available for speech-language pathologists seeking full-time, onsite contract roles supporting students in a dynamic school district. Three positions are open, each offering the chance to work with a unique student population: one at the elementary level, one with middle school students (6th-8th grade), and another at the high school level. The district is prioritizing onsite service and values candidates who feel comfortable working in an urban setting and can adapt quickly to its distinct environment.
Positions are 35 hours per week and are scheduled between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, with no schedule adjustments available. The contract begins as soon as possible and extends through June 10, 2027.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current SLP-CCC credential
- Prior experience working in school-based settings
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from campus locations
- Experience or comfort working with urban student populations
- Flexibility and resilience in a busy, diverse school environment
- Commitment to onsite work; virtual options are not offered for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to assigned caseloads at elementary, middle, or high school levels
- Collaborate actively with educators, parents, and support staff to foster students’ communication skills
- Administer assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the district’s mission
