Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ speech and language development in a school setting for the 26/27 academic year. This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a positive impact—on-site or virtually—while enjoying flexibility and professional growth. You’ll be an integral part of the educational team, addressing a range of speech and language needs during the 10 1/2 month academic calendar.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure for school-based practice in Pennsylvania
- Proven experience in school settings, including teletherapy and on-site environments
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, as there is no SLPA support for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Utilize a variety of delivery models including in-person and teletherapy (as needed)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports
