Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for helping children succeed academically and socially
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, adapting strategies to individual needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and document progress in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one sessions to address articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP team discussions, and professional development opportunities
