Speech Language Pathologist in Weaverville, CA

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning K-12 ages
- Solid understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students on-site, individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Regularly assess students, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and generalization of skills
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions regarding student needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere in all therapy sessions
