This full-time, contract position spans the academic year from August 11th, 2026 to May 25th, 2027, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to approximately 4:30pm. You'll serve a diverse caseload—including 54 students receiving direct therapy and 14 through consultative services—making a meaningful impact every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPA’s effectively
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and protocol
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide guidance to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA’s)
- Develop, plan, and deliver tailored individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring alignment with students’ IEP speech and language objectives
- Continuously monitor and document student progress, using data to adjust therapy plans as needed
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for, and progress within, speech and language services
- Make informed recommendations regarding continuation or termination of therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
