Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Holds an active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or equivalent experience in pediatrics and school settings
- Prior work with K-12 students, addressing a range of speech and language needs
- Bilingual or experience in bilingual evaluation is a plus; the caseload includes bilingual therapy for approximately seven students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations, including a limited number of bilingual assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaborating with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Manage a dynamic caseload, ensuring each student receives tailored, high-quality support
