Step into a rewarding school-based setting, providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students in a K-12 environment near Denton, TX. You’ll manage a caseload that includes approximately seven bilingual therapy students (primarily for evaluations), ensuring you’ll gain valuable experience in both monolingual and bilingual service delivery. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), pediatric, and school-based SLP experience preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, including those from diverse backgrounds
- Comfort with bilingual evaluation processes is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy sessions for students across K-12 grades
- Provide direct and consultative services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student outcomes
- Participate in school meetings as needed, contributing to a positive learning environment
