Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
- SLP-CCC certification and school-based SLP experience
- Prior experience with elementary and middle school caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Comfortable working fully onsite (remote/voco not considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for assigned students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with district and state standards
- Provide recommendations and support for classroom teachers and caregivers
