Located in the northern suburbs, this contract position offers a chance to work closely with students across the district, providing essential speech and language support in both English and another language. You’ll be the main resource for bilingual learners, working during standard school hours with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8:45am–4:00pm), throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Professional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Illinois Educator Certification
  • Experience supporting bilingual students or a strong interest in working with a diverse caseload
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary academic setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to bilingual students with a wide range of disabilities
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff throughout the district to ensure student success
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Serve as an advocate and resource for bilingual language development across a district-wide caseload
