Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- Comprehensive background in pediatrics, ideally within educational or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic documentation
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities, especially with multidisciplinary teams and families
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for PreK–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Engage in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and participate in professional development as appropriate
- Provide virtual (teletherapy) and/or onsite services depending on assignment
