Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with early childhood or kindergarten-aged students
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development
- Excellent collaboration skills for partnering with educators and families
- Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Comfort adapting interventions to diverse learner needs and developmental levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood and kindergarten students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and interpret assessment results
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team
- Offer consultation and strategies to classroom teachers and family members
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Create engaging and positive therapy sessions to foster communication growth in young learners
