Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active, valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric, educational, or healthcare settings
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing individualized goals
- Familiarity with virtual/teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Able to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on progress, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Remain current on professional practices, school policies, and continuing education
