Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active, valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric, educational, or healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing individualized goals
  • Familiarity with virtual/teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Able to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation on progress, interventions, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
  • Remain current on professional practices, school policies, and continuing education
