Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license for Illinois, or eligible to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or pursuing completion of CFY
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote instructional tools
- Expertise in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for diverse student needs
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with students, families, and school staff
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Design and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for individuals or small groups
- Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP development
- Consult with teachers and provide in-service training or resources to support classroom integration
- Leverage teletherapy strategies to reach and engage remote learners, as needed
