School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wauconda, IL
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Wauconda, Illinois for the upcoming school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a collaborative special education team while helping students strengthen their communication skills and reach their full potential.
Position Details
- Location: Wauconda, IL
- Schedule: Full-Time
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Setting: Onsite, School-Based
- Caseload: Assigned based on experience and district needs
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for communication supports
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if applicable)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
