Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid NY Speech Language Pathologist license
- Active TSSLD Certification required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based therapy, pediatrics, or healthcare settings
- Skill with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Comfortable managing caseloads with a wide spectrum of needs, from mild language delays to complex disorders
- Compassion, adaptability, and clear communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for K-12 students with varying disabilities
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy when needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators to tailor interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district standards
- Engage with families to promote carry-over and generalization of communication skills
- Monitor progress and adjust therapies to ensure student success
