School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rensselaer, New York

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to suit diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organizational proficiency in managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver individual and group therapy services within a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for those requiring support
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to advance students’ communication skills
- Maintain thorough and timely progress documentation and reporting
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to provide holistic support
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and family members regarding speech/language development
