Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Waterbury, CT

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC’s preferred, but open to strong CF candidates)
- Valid and active Connecticut SLP license
- School-based SLP experience required
- Willingness to obtain district-required fingerprinting and background clearance
- Strong ability to manage an elementary caseload across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Not open to SLPAs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy to students onsite in an elementary school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain detailed service records and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required
- CF candidates will receive supervisor support as available within district capacity
