School Speech Language Pathologist - Meriden, CT

Full-time speech-language pathologists are sought to provide critical services across two school sites, starting as soon as possible through June 2027. These contract positions offer the opportunity to work with a range of young learners, helping them achieve communication milestones and academic success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Possess an active Connecticut SLP license (required)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; recent graduates with CFs may be considered if supervision bandwidth allows
- Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience
- Comfortable splitting time between two school campuses with elementary caseloads
- No SLPAs; positions are strictly for licensed SLPs
- District fingerprinting and comprehensive background check required prior to start
- Upfront license documentation recommended for smooth onboarding
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy for elementary students onsite
- Collaborate closely with educators, special services teams, and families to foster student progress
- Effectively balance a weekly 35-hour schedule and manage caseload expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district protocols
- Participate in virtual interviews via Zoom as part of the hiring process
