Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state licensure (or eligibility) in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY applicants considered
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly desired
- Previous experience in school-based environments or working with K-12 populations is a plus
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
- Assess, identify, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for IEPs, evaluations, and ongoing progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment
