Desired qualifications and experience:
- Holds a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or is eligible as a Clinical Fellow (CF) or SLPA, depending on available supervision
- Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with K-12 population
- Familiarity with attending PPT meetings, writing IEPs, and completing initial and ongoing speech/language evaluations
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a diverse caseload of K-8 and high school students
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports as required
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Attend PPT meetings and participate in collaborative planning
- Consult and train teachers, staff, and families on communication strategies
- Advocate for student success through evidence-based therapy and support
