A contract opportunity is available for a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year in Pekin, IL. This role focuses on supporting students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade, delivering direct therapy services that target articulation and language development.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized speech therapy services to K-3 students with articulation and language needs
- Utilizing evidence-based practices during direct therapy sessions
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborating with educators and school staff to support student progress
- Adhering to all school district policies and state requirements for speech services
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with relevant school-based experience
- Experience or certification in providing pediatric speech therapy services
- Strong skills in articulation and language intervention
- Ability to effectively deliver direct therapy in a school setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy services is a plus but not required for this role
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Candidates with SLP or SLPA credentials only, no consideration for other support roles
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:30 AM to 2:40 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM to 1:20 PM
